Every real sgian dubh is unique. Hours of love and care go into into crafting your knife.
If you would like to make it even more personal, here are some suggestions…
Engraving.
If you would like your knife engraved, I recommend that you take it to a local jeweller where you can discuss engraving options. There is space for a date or initials on the rear of the silver work.
I don’t recommend engraving blades – as the engraving is likely to wear over time.
I do not offer an engraving service.
Commissions.
I’m able to provide customised and high quality presentation boxes for larger orders.
For example, I have recently supplied an Army regiment with knives in a bespoke oak presentation box embossed with the regiment’s crest and cushioned with regimental tartan.
If you would like to discuss some options, please be in touch:
I’m unable to do one-off commissions at this time.
Handcrafted solid oak box.
Engraved with the regiment’s crest.
Cushioned and lined with the regiment’s tartan.
